Grays based general haulier Webster Miller have added a new FASSI F660 with fly jib and winch to their existing fleet of FASSI cranes. The Scania has been supplied with a NATO beam which has been adapted by Collier Truck Builders of Witham, who also built the body, to accept a pair of stabiliser rams to give full lifting duties when operating over the cab of the vehicle. These rams are fully integrated with the FASSI FSC-S stability system giving the operator total safety of operation through 360 degrees. Webster Miller purchased their first FASSI crane in 2003 and have built a solid relationship with Walker Crane Services, director Simon Steptoe says “Walker Crane Services was an obvious choice when we decided to purchase our first crane, buying the best pays dividends in the long run with life time costs and also with downtime being a very important factor Walker Cranes have always responded extremely well when have needed them.”
