Double 4 Test Vehicle fitted with a Fassi F50

Double 4 Ltd the Tail Lift, Step & Shutter Engineers from Willesden North London, have invested in a new specially developed vehicle to carry out the weight testing of tail lifts. Double 4 needed a payload of at least 3750kg combined with a crane capable of lifting a 1500kg test weight over the rear of the vehicle.

Double 4 looked at many options without success and it was only by using a FASSI F50A.21 fitted to a Mitsubishi Fuso, supplied by Mercedes-Benz dealer Rygor Commercials that they were able to meet with their requirement. By using FASSI’s crane installation programme which calculates the payload, weight distribution and vehicle stability we were able to give Double 4 the confidence to go ahead with the project.
